Self-Actualization Session

  • 30 Days

About

With a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Boston College and nearly 1000 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in the Bikram/Gosh lineage, Simona Alladio brings a well-rounded perspective to your healing container. Sessions last 90 minutes and begin with 30 minutes of meditation, the basis of which is grounded in Simona’s studies with Yogananada’s Self-Realization Fellowship and IPSALU’s Tantra Kriya Yoga. We flow from meditation into a collaborative Non-Violent Communication practice for self-reflection, identifying feelings and needs that are presenting in the client’s current experience. From there, we will explore different mediums to work with what’s alive— through various modalities such a talk therapy, deeper NVC processing, mirror work, and EFT tapping. We will close each session with a short yoga asana practice, targeting specific areas in the body which correlate to the work we’ve done. Additionally, clients may opt for a sound healing session on the crystal biomat, where the crystal bowls, medicine drum, and koshi chimes are combined with healing song, prayer, or mantra to integrate the pieces that came up during the session. Homework will be offered including daily meditation practice, a self-reflective NVC process, and yoga asana prescription. For those who would like a more spiritually-based container, Simona weaves together the wisdom from the North and the South by sharing the wisdom she’s received from studying the Hawaiian Moon Calendar and the Quechua language from the Andes Mountains in Peru. Specifically, clients may receive guidance around building a manifestation altar from the Andean tradition or cultivating a daily moon practice based on wisdom from the Hawaiian Moon Calendar, in order to support them in making life changes or reaching goals.
