Service Description

Developed by Esak Garcia, Jedi Fight Club is an opportunity for serious yogis to take a step into a world of practice that has produced 8 world champions and assisted numerous people in developing a more complete and fulfilling experience of yoga asana. At JFC we learn and practice training techniques that many people have used to deepen yoga postures, heal chronic injuries, and develop greater strength and flexibility. Many yogis have accomplished astonishing mental and physical transformations by practicing these techniques in a disciplined way over the years. At a live training we learn and practice together, and we support and inspire each other. The profound changes then occur by integrating these techniques into your yoga routine at home, which is why we often refer to these techniques as yoga “homework.” We have many resources to help you to continue to apply what you’ve learned after a live training. For example, many of us practice homework together remotely via Virtual JFC. Before attending a live training you should be ready to practice 2 hot classes per day, plus additional training hours. Our entire day will revolve around yoga practice. There’s no minimum level of ability that’s required and it doesn’t matter what you can and can’t do. What matters is that spending your days doing yoga practice and training is fun and interesting to you, and that you’re up for the challenge. Your willingness to participate, and take a step forward from wherever you are now, is much more important than your current ability. This week-long Immersion is facilitated by JFC Leader, Giselle "SupaG" Meagher, who has been practicing yoga for 12 years and teaching for eight. She is a three-time state USA Yoga Champion, as well as the 2019 Western Regional Champion. Giselle placed sixth in the 2021 Virtual International Yoga Sport Federation competition and graduated from the 500-hour e84 Yoga Teacher Training program in March 2023. Giselle has also received teacher training in the Ashtanga Primary Sequence from Mahesh Chandra at the Abhijna School of Yoga in Kerala, India. Born in Livorno, Italy, Giselle now lives in the California desert, where in addition to teaching yoga, she is a passionate student and lecturer on Sanskrit, ayurvedic medicine, and yoga philosophy.
